Job summary

CIEL Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician who will provide medication assistance and personal care to residents, following the community’s guidelines and standards. You will participate in narcotic counts, document care activities, and support the wellness team to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.

The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience, a valid medication administration certificate, CPR, and CNA credentials as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Medication Administration training/certification per state requirements.
• Must meet all health requirements.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification.
• Strong English reading/writing comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications and personal care following policies.
• Complete documentation per standards to ensure care needs are met.
• Participate in narcotic count and document inventory.
• Administer medications as directed, ensuring rights of medication administration.
• Maintain cleanliness of medication room and cart.
• Record vital signs and monitor resident condition as directed.
