Job summary

Senior Lifestyle seeks a dedicated Medication Technician to administer prescribed medications and provide nursing care in our assisted living community.

The role includes supervising self-administered meds, documenting care, and assisting residents with daily activities while maintaining regulatory compliance. A High School Diploma or GED and state-certified medication tech credentials are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ months of experience in senior living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• Basic English proficiency to communicate with staff and residents.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments per MAR/TAR.
• Provide personal and nursing care to residents, including ADLs.
• Document in daily log and report concerns to supervisor.
• Answer calls and assist residents with needs as assigned.
• Maintain medication carts, restock, and ensure cleanliness.
• Attend staff trainings and comply with policies and regulations.
