Job summary

Ciel Nona Lakes LLC is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication assistance and personal care to residents in a senior living community. The role requires strict adherence to medication administration protocols and thorough documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years’ relevant experience, CPR and CNA certifications, and strong English communication skills to coordinate with families and care teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Medication Administration training/certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification per state requirements.
• Strong English reading, writing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance and personal care to residents.
• Complete documentation per standards to ensure care service delivery.
• Participate in narcotic count and inventory documentation.
• Administer medications as directed per Rights of Medication Administration.
• Maintain cleanliness of medication room and cart.
• Inform families about mail-order medications when needed.
• Oversee resident aides during the assigned shift.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings and participate in LMS-based courses.
