Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Missouri is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for residents, meeting hospitality and service standards. You will accommodate dietary needs and uphold food safety, sanitation, and temperature controls.

Reporting to the Dining Services Director, you will assist with kitchen organization, train new staff, collaborate with other departments, and contribute to a welcoming, resident-focused dining experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year cooking experience preferred.
• Food Manager Certification, or ability to obtain, is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve foods according to menu cycles and recipes.
• Ensure food temperatures are proper and documented.
• Accommodate dietary needs and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with kitchen organization and training of new staff.
• Communicate with Dining Services Director and other departments to support residents.
