Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of cook experience preferred.
• Food Manager Certification required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion foods according to menus and recipes.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and safety standards.
• Assist with kitchen training and orientation of new staff.
• Document temperature logs and cleaning schedules as required.
• Ensure communication with residents' families regarding care and meals.
