Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide basic care to residents and assist with activities of daily living on-site in a long-term care setting.

The RA will support personal hygiene, meals, housekeeping, and social activities, working closely with the nursing team to enhance residents' overall well-being. Current Nursing Assistant certification and CPR/First Aid are required or per state rules; weekend/holiday shifts are common.

Qualificações

• Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant (dependent upon state regulations).
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities (hygiene, dressing, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, meal services).
• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to support residents’ physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.
• Support residents and families in an efficient and compassionate manner within the community.
