Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities. The RA will work with the nursing team to support well‑being and dignity across meals, hygiene, dressing, housekeeping and social activities.

Requirements include Nursing Assistant certification or state equivalent, CPR/First Aid, and knowledge of Alzheimer's disease. The role requires teamwork, flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis, and

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification (state-specific) required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementias preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Weekend/holiday flexibility for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities.
• Assist with hygiene, dressing, housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Support social and recreational activities and meal services.
