Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide basic resident care and assist with daily living activities within our senior living community. The RA collaborates with nursing and other staff to ensure comfort, safety, and well-being for residents.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in long-term care or assisted living, a valid Nursing Assistant certification, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• Current Nursing Assistant certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Excellent people skills and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, and meals.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to support resident well-being.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities and ensure a safe environment.
