Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Appleton, WI is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities.

The RA collaborates with the nursing team to support residents and families, and requires CNA/State Tested Nursing Assistant certification, CPR/First Aid, with weekend/holiday availability. Opportunities for full-time or part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Current CNA or State Tested Nursing Assistant certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease or dementias preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Support housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure resident well-being.
• Communicate with residents and families as needed.
