Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide compassionate care and assist residents with daily activities. The role includes basic housekeeping, meal-time support, and responding to urgent calls with calm and professionalism.

You will help residents attend meals and activities, move safely, and follow privacy policies while maintaining a positive, respectful demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed approved PCA program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to walk, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident apartments, common areas, and dining room as directed.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities; respond promptly to calls and emergencies.
• Communicate resident status and information to supervisors and care team.
• Assist new residents with move‑in transition and emotional support.
