Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality ADL support and companionship to residents. You will assist with daily activities, meals, activities, and basic housekeeping while upholding safety and confidentiality.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report status to supervisors.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Support residents during meals and transitions between areas.
