Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA in Mechanicsburg, PA to assist residents with daily living activities and support a caring community. You will report incidents, help with ADLs, and participate in activity planning while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

The role requires a PCA program completion or equivalent, a HS diploma, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• The Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents of the community.
• Reports incidents involving residents to include care concerns or issues to appropriate individuals.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to all resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information.
• Assists new residents with move-in transition and emotional support.
• Communicate resident status and upcoming appointments to the team.
