Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsburg, PA, is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, and emotional care. You will assist with meals, routines, and transportation to activities, while maintaining safety and dignity for each resident.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, reporting health concerns, and coordinating with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must follow instructions from supervisor and be a contributing team member.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or must obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide emotional support during move-in transitions.
• Assist residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance and emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information as per policies.
• Document resident status and upcoming appointments in writing.
