Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality daily living support to residents. You will assist with ADLs, housekeeping, dining, and activity participation, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, supporting move-ins, and collaborating with the nursing team. Flexible weekends/holidays and opportunities for career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program as per state regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with housekeeping and dining/activities as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Report incidents and resident status to appropriate staff.
• Assist new residents with move-in and provide emotional support.
• Participate in activity programs and follow confidentiality policies.
• Communicate resident status in writing and attend required trainings.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings.
