Job summary

Springs of Catawba is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide direct support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and comfort in a safe, respectful setting.

The PCA will monitor health changes and assist with reminders, while encouraging engagement in activities and following infection control and safety procedures. A high school diploma is preferred, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state‑approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor health and report changes to the nursing team; assist with medication reminders.
• Foster resident engagement through companionship and social activities.
• Maintain clean, safe living areas and follow infection control protocols.
