Job summary

Hope Springs in Red Springs, NC is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment. You will collaborate with the nursing team, monitor health indicators, assist with ADLs, and provide companionship while upholding dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA/CNA or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
• Observe and report changes in health and behavior to the nursing team.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in activities to promote well-being.
• Follow safety, infection control, and health regulations; respond to emergencies.
