Job summary

Haywood Springs is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment. The PCA will work closely with the nursing team to monitor health, assist with ADLs, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and familiarity with PCA/CNA training. A strong commitment to dignity and respectful care for seniors is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• PCA/CNA training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Monitor health and report changes to nursing team; remind about medications.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in activities; promote independence.
• Maintain clean, safe living areas and follow infection control protocols.
