Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from LifeWise sites. The role requires a clean driving record, valid CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement, and a commitment to a local church aligned with our beliefs.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain safety and cleanliness, and follow all traffic laws while supporting a caring, calm environment for students. Training and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• CDL license with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) required.
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain safety of the bus.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus; perform regular inspections.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
