Job summary

Citadel Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois to provide licensed care for residents per physician orders, document care, and supervise nursing assistants. The role requires current IL RN licensure and CPR certification, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compassionate care.

The RN will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Transcribes physician orders and maintains charts.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered.
• Records vital signs and monitors resident status.
• Directs and supervises daily CNA services.
• Ensures a clean and safe patient environment.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges residents as needed.
• Reports shift activities and resident changes.
