Job summary

Citadel Healthcare in Wilmette, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide licensed care, monitor residents, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans while ensuring infection control and patient safety.

The role requires a nursing degree or diploma, an active RN license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including potential overnight assignments. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment spaces.
• Takes and records vital signs; administers IV therapy and respiratory care as authorized.
• Documents care and resident responses in nursing notes; communicates with families and physicians as required.
