PACS is seeking a dedicated care assistant to provide routine daily care to residents in our post-acute healthcare setting. You will follow care plans, assist with meals and mobility, and help maintain a warm, safe environment. The role requires teamwork with nursing staff and adherence to confidentiality policies.

The position emphasizes effective communication, observation, and compassion for residents. Training on safety policies and blood/body fluid procedures will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to follow policies concerning exposure to blood and body fluids.

Responsabilités

• Provide routine daily care and services to residents according to care plans.
• Record and report changes in residents' condition to nursing leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information including protected health information.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility under supervision.
• Assist with meals, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety.
• Greet residents, escort to rooms, and help maintain a comfortable environment.
• Observe for pressure areas, skin breakdowns, and report concerns promptly.
