Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in the United States is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents, including housekeeping and dining duties as directed by the supervisor.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, effective communication, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willing to become certified within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and common spaces.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities, monitor meals and attendance.
• Report resident status and concerns to appropriate staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies.
