Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well with all levels of staff are required.
• Must be polite, considerate of residents, and a contributing member of the nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies; maintain composure during incidents.
