Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents. The role includes responding to calls, supporting dining and activities, and maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, completion of approved PCA program per state regulations, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness within 60 days, and

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have successfully completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to represent the community in a positive and professional manner.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents.
• Reports incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and with mobility.
• Performs housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information and communicates status to staff.
