Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to support residents with daily living activities and comfort. You will work as part of a nursing team, maintain confidentiality, and respond promptly to emergencies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved PCA program, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays. CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtained within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of staff.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Report resident status and any concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist residents with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
