Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking caring Resident Assistants to join our team in Ohio. This entry-level role supports residents with Activities of Daily Living within our communities, with growth potential and a starting pay of $15.00 per hour, increasing with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification not required.
• Experience in care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner per resident.
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident.
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure.
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge.
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge.
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.
