Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a caring Resident Assistant for the 10pm–6am shift. You will help residents with Activities of Daily Living, assist with daily routines, and collaborate with the care team to preserve independence and dignity for each resident.

This part-time role starts at $15.00 per hour and offers benefits such as medical insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary
