Job summary

Pacific Villas Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services under the direction of nursing staff. The role includes identifying residents, recording care activities, and reporting changes in condition to supervisors.

Responsibilities also include assisting with daily living tasks, protecting patient confidentiality, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for residents and staff. A valid CNA license is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to give compassionate patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or services using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nursing supervisors promptly.
• Escort and assist residents to rooms, meals, tests, or transportation.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect health information.
• Follow safety procedures for blood/body fluids and infection control.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as trained.
• Observe and report skin integrity issues and any patient changes.
