Job summary

Delta is seeking a Resident Assistant to support daily personal care for residents in our Delta, Colorado community. The RA will assist with activities of daily living, monitor safety, document care, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and respect.

The role may involve working with Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, and requires adherence to health and safety guidelines. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED (preferred) and demonstrate strong English

Qualifications

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing and dressing.
• Attend to the personal care needs of residents in a timely manner.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations.
• Provide information, encourage, and participate with residents in activity focused programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing and dressing as requested by residents or directed by supervisor.
• Attends to the personal care needs of residents in a timely manner.
• Review, follow, and adhere to residents' service plans.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations.
• Perform vital signs and heights and weights.
• Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Monitor the safety and well-being of residents.
• Report changes in resident status, health or otherwise to supervisor.
• Demonstrate knowledge of infection control and universal precautions.
• Provide information, encourage, and participate with residents in activity focused programs.
