Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsville, Virginia, is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities. You will report incidents, follow policies, assist with meals, activities, and mobility, and support a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved PCA program. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance and emergencies.
• Support activity programs and social engagement for residents.
• Support move-in and transition for new residents and provide emotional support.
