Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents and concerns to appropriate individuals.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Supports planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Communicates resident status and upcoming information to the team.
