Harmony Senior Services in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and social engagement. You will document resident status and respond to calls, collaborating closely with nursing staff to ensure safety and comfort.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and the ability to

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved PCA program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must lift 50 lbs and assist with transfers.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Mansioni

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform light housekeeping and keep common areas clean.
• Assist residents to dining rooms and activities as scheduled.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Support in planning and conducting activity programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Communicate status and upcoming appointments to the team.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
