Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, safety, and well-being. You will respond to calls, assist with mobility, and participate in activity planning within a compassionate team.

CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtained within 60 days. A High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved personal care aide program are mandatory. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 60 days.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information.
• Assists residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Checks on residents and reports status or concerns.
