Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide to assist residents with daily living, mobility, and hygiene while following care plans. You will support meals, activities, and safety under supervision.

Responsibilities include responding to resident needs, maintaining confidentiality, and helping maintain a positive, respectful environment. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information.
