Commonwealth Senior Living in Connecticut is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Associate (RCA) to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily activities, document care, and follow individualized plans to maintain dignity and quality of life.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and infection control, with shifts 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am. Full-time benefits include medical, life insurance, disability options, a 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification is required or expected.
• Ability to fulfill both physical and emotional resident needs.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain per policy.
• Upholds resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Flexible weekend availability to ensure resident care.
• Demonstrates compassion and genuine concern for seniors.

Responsabilités

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with the care team.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Make routine rounds to meet needs per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using proper body mechanics.
• Maintain skin integrity and change incontinent residents as needed.
• Document daily care activities per company policy.
• Report resident issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Provide support to residents and families with empathy.
• Attend required trainings, in-service programs, and staff meetings.
