Sinceri Senior Living in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to join our caring team. You will support residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and help create a warm, safe environment where residents thrive.

As a compassionate team member, you will engage residents in meaningful activities, assist with meals, and help maintain cleanliness across the community. Prior caregiver experience is valued and English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with elderly in residential or long-term care preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English to communicate with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to pass required tests (CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers) if state regulations require.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities while providing personal care.
• Respond to resident needs promptly and provide or obtain assistance as needed.
• Assist in dining room during meals.
• Encourage participation in scheduled activities and outings.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the community and resident rooms.
• Assist with resident laundry per shift guidelines.
