Job summary

Mercy Health's Clermont Hospital in Ohio is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and provide therapeutic interventions to patients across settings, including outpatients, inpatients, pediatrics, and off-site locations. You will document progress in the EMR and supervise PT assistants.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, delivering direct therapy, and maintaining productivity while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or meet qualifications for traineeship or temporary license (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH)
• 2 years of experience in equivalent setting (preferred)
• Demonstrates appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in caring for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Requires the ability to work well with all levels of patients, the public and other health care professionals

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathering information and develops a treatment plan with goals
• Provides direct therapy to patients daily according to plan of care
• Maintains accurate records in EMR and co-signs for PT assistants
• Maintains productivity and delivers efficient and effective care
• Supervises the physical therapist assistants and their interventions
