Job summary

North Bay Children in California seeks an Associate Teacher to join its early childhood education team. Candidates should have 2–5 years of ECE experience or 12–24 ECE units and be enrolled toward GE units, or possess a CTC Associate Teacher permit.

The role requires an Associate Teacher permit or higher, with at least 6 months classroom experience. If you do not currently hold the permit, you must obtain a CDA or higher within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in ECE program.
• 12–24 ECE units; must be enrolled toward GE units, or
• CTC Associate Teacher permit.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to NBCC policies and procedures as directed by leadership.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, professional classroom environment.
• Obtain and maintain Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR certifications as required by CA licensing.
• Participate in regular evaluations of job performance with Head Teacher/Site Supervisor.
• Assist with substitutes when needed and attend NBCC staff development days.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support positive behavior plans and referrals.
