Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess an 'Associate' Child Development Teaching Permit or higher with at least 6 months classroom experience.
• If not possessed, must obtain Child Development Associate Permit, or higher, within 6 months of NBCC employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supervision of children at all times in accordance with California licensing regulations.
• Assist teaching staff with daily classroom setup and outside play areas to promote positive exploration.
• Maintain classroom documents (daily meal counts, rosters, and related reports).
• Report injuries to Head Teacher or Site Supervisor in writing.
• Develop meaningful relationships with parents through open, responsive communication.
