UnitedHealth Group, through LHC Group and the Optum family, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support home health patients under a supervising Physical Therapist.

You will educate patients and families, guide exercises, monitor progress, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe and effective therapy. This role requires an active PTA license and weekend availability; compensation reflects a combined base and visit-based pay in a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Weekend rotation availability.
• CPR certification preferred or can be completed within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Follow the supervising PT's plan of care in home care.
• Instruct patients in exercises and activities of daily living.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses; coordinate with the care team.
• Educate patient and family on therapy techniques and safe performance.
