Mercy Health seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled interventions across inpatient, outpatient, pediatrics, and satellite locations. You will document progress toward goals in the EHR and support the continuum of care under the Physical Therapist direction.

The role requires licensing in the practicing state, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and collaboration with the care team. 40-hour work week with days/afternoons shifts at Fairfield Hospital.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• BLS certification preferred at hire; required within 30 days for some sites.
• Ability to document treatment plans and patient progress in EHR.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate therapeutic interventions under the Physical Therapist guidance.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and track patient progress.
• Support students' clinical experiences where applicable.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
