Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for Fairfield Hospital to perform initial and ongoing assessments and provide skilled therapy across inpatient, outpatient, pediatric and off-site locations. You will develop goals, implement treatments, document progress, and coordinate with the care team.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, teaching family members, and maintaining EMR records.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice.
• BLS certification preferred, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH.
• 2 years of experience in equivalent setting preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric, adult and geriatric care and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops an appropriate treatment plan with specific goals.
• Provides direct therapy to patients daily per plan of care and standards of practice.
• Maintains accurate records in the EMR and coordinates care with team; co-signs for PT assistants when applicable.
• Maintains productivity while delivering high-quality care and meeting department standards.
• Supervises PT assistants and supports professional growth.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and policy guidelines.
