Job summary

Mercy Health in Kings Mills, OH is seeking a Physical Therapist to complete initial and ongoing assessments and provide skilled therapeutic interventions across inpatients, outpatients and pediatrics as part of the continuum of professional care.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Physical Therapist in Ohio, with BLS and at least 2 years of experience; strong communication and teamwork skills; and the ability to supervise a PT assistant.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, collects relevant data, and develops a treatment plan with specific goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily per plan of care and current PT practice standards.
• Maintains accurate records of treatment and patient progress in the EMR; co-signs for supervised PTAs if applicable.
• Maintains productivity while delivering high-quality patient care and meeting department standards.
• Supervises PT assistants and supports professional growth of staff.
