Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join Kings Mills Hospital. You will assess and treat patients across outpatient, inpatient, pediatrics, and off-site locations, following your plan of care and current PT standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, documenting progress in the EMR, and supervising PT assistants while maintaining productivity and quality care. Licensing in-state and BLS compliance are required or pursued within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required within 30 days for some sites.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a treatment plan with goals.
• Provide daily direct therapy per plan and standards of practice.
• Maintain accurate EMR records of care and progress; obtain co-signatures as needed.
• Maintain productivity without compromising care quality.
• Supervise and mentor the physical therapist assistant's interventions.
