Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Kings Mills, Ohio, seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, perform initial and ongoing assessments, and provide skilled therapy across inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and off-site locations.

You will document progress in the electronic medical record, supervise assistants where applicable, maintain productivity, and comply with safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or eligible for traineeship/temporary license.
• BLS Basic Life Support required within 30 days for some locations.
• 2 years of experience in a similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathering pertinent information and develops a treatment plan with goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily following the plan of care and current PT standards.
• Documents care, progress, and orders in the EMR; co-signs for PT assistants where applicable.
• Maintains productivity while delivering quality care that meets department standards.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and annual compliance requirements.
• Supervises PT assistants and supports professional growth.
