PCH Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to perform venipunctures and non-blood specimen collections, label specimens, and operate basic lab equipment. You will communicate with patients and staff to ensure accurate specimen handling and timely processing.

Responsibilities include clerical duties, potential drug screens with Chain of Custody, and flexible shifts across departments. This non-exempt position is based in Princeton, WV with a 4-hour weekly schedule.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) preferred.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsabilidades

• Consistently draws blood competently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible for patient groups from neonates to geriatrics.
• Properly labels all specimens in the presence of the patient.
• Operate basic laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, computer systems, labeling printers, scanners, phone system, etc.).
• Communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, clients, and staff.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, report distribution, processing, and faxing.
• If applicable, collect drug screens using Chain of Custody Process.
