Job summary

Labcorp in Princeton, WV is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The position offers patient-focused blood collection, data entry, and light administrative duties with travel to additional sites as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or relevant training, with preferred experience in phlebotomy and exceptional customer service skills. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 12:30pm.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency or relevant experience.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and pass color vision testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
