PCH Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a phlebotomist to collect blood and specimens, perform venipunctures, and ensure proper labeling and handling of samples. The role supports patient care across age groups and requires attention to detail and reliable performance in a clinical setting.

The position involves equipment operation, basic clerical tasks, and potential drug-screen collections, with typical shift schedules and on-site duties at the Princeton, WV location.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certification (CPT).
• Six (6) months of phlebotomy experience.

Mansioni

• Draw blood consistently and efficiently with minimal discomfort across patient groups.
• Label all specimens in the presence of the patient.
• Operate basic lab equipment (centrifuges, printers, scanners).
• Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, distribution of reports, and faxing.
• If applicable, collect drug screens using Chain of Custody procedures.
