Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Clermont Hospital team. The Phlebotomist will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and perform clerical duties to support efficient laboratory operations.

Responsibilities include order entry, result lookup, report generation, and answering calls in a friendly manner. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required; one year of experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and the community in a respectful manner.
• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Identify patients accurately and match identity with service.
• Perform data entry and processing of specimens (labeling, centrifuging, splitting, freezing).
• Handle clerical duties: inventory checks, stock supplies, and answer phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
