BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Veterinary Receptionists for a day-time position that includes both weekdays and weekends. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $26.00 per hour and is tied to experience and competency leveling.

You will be the first face clients see, ensuring compassionate care and smooth operations. You will greet clients, assess needs, determine emergencies, schedule appointments, and provide emotional support to grieving clients while coordinating with the team to maintain high-quality

Qualifications

• Greet clients warmly and provide professional acknowledgement.
• Speak clearly, slowly and calmly in person and on the telephone.
• Offer compassionate listening and empathetic support.
• Assess client needs and respond to emotional situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and provide friendly, professional acknowledgement at entry.
• Assess on arrival each client's needs and determine emergency vs standard.
• Respond to non-patient calls/visitors and connect to the right team member.
• Confirm appointments and inform clients how to prepare their pet.
• Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients.
• Act as liaison between clients and service agencies for pet remains.
